Dried shrimp are shrimp that have been sun dried and shrunk to a thumbnail size. Dried Shrimps have lots of concentrated shrimp flavour. They need to be soaked in hot water for 15-30 minutes before using. This will rehydrate the dried shrimps and reduce any saltiness.
